Inspired as much by the sound of your neighbours arguing at 3 o’clock in the morning and the wailing of sirens and the crashing of doors in a dawn raid as they are by their musical heroes, The November Five have been rightly recognised as one of London’s most incendiary and exciting live bands.
Creating a rock’n’roll noise that’s made when MENSA collides with ASBO, the band’s two self-released singles ‘Closure’ and ‘Awake in a Daze’ have received international radio support from stations as varied as BBC 6 Music, Xfm (plus a session for John Kennedy’s Xposure show), BBCs Radio 1, London, Berkshire and Cambridgeshire in the UK as well as KROQ’s legendary tastemaker Rodney Bingenheimer in LA and Rob Quicke’s nationally syndicated Britsound Show in the US.
The November Five’s debut album, If You’re Satisfied You Are Dead, was released to universal acclaim. But don’t just take our word for it – here’s what the press says:
“‘If You’re Satisfied You Are Dead’ is an atmospheric opening salvo from a band with great promise” – Uncut
“The November Five provide the essential antidote to the insipid rise of Merchant-Ivory boy-band folk-rock” – Rock’n’Reel
“The November Five hold the flame for all we hold dear about rock’n’roll” – Louder Than War
Note: Tickets for Jim Jones & The Righteous Mind, The November Five and Amesbury Banks are SOLD OUT.
