Walthamstow Garden Party returns this July to Lloyd Park and promises yet another fantastic programme brought to you by the Barbican, Create London and Waltham Forest Council.
Electronic 17 and Soul Picnic are pleased to be back at the Glittering Plains dance tent once again! Showcasing some of the hardest working local party organisers and DJs in Walthamstow, in partnership with The Stow Festival, the programme for the weekend will shine a spotlight on those who have tirelessly worked to bring some great music to this corner of north east London. And that’s not all – the guests this year are incredible too!
Saturday’s line up features newcomers to the festival, We Can Be Heroes Disco, with their superhero family disco takeover, and Feminist Jukebox curators PoP Campaign. Also playing will be Soul Picnic’s Dom Mandrell and Electronic 17’s Kat Richmond, alongside special guests Pete Fowler (Seahawks) and Citizen Helene (Fair Maiden Records), High Fashion Technique (Netil Radio), Dave Congreve (Soma Records) and Nu Disco pioneers, Faze Action.
Sunday will kick off with a special performance from one of the Big Creative Academy’s students, followed by balearic spinners Eastern FrontSoundsystem. Then we have funk and soul from Patrick Steele (Soul In The Stow) and Patrick Richmond (Raising the Funking Bar), followed by our special guests Daisy Heartbreaker DJ (Deep Love), Samantha Blackburn(Buntu), and Timothy J Fairplay (Crimes of the future / The Asphodells).
